Irish American Club (IAC) Election Meeting

CALLING ALL IRISH AMERICAN MEMBERS
Irish American Club members, please note that we are happy to report that you now have a chance to meet other IA members and let us know what concerns/ideas you have regarding the Gaelic League. We’re kicking off a new series of IAC Election Meetings (IACEMs), open to all IAC members.
These meetings will:
- Keep you informed, connected, and engaged in the Liaison election process
- Fulfill new bylaw responsibilities
- Outline the election process
- Offer space to connect, network and engage with other IAC members
Meeting Format:
- 6:00 PM – Social Hour
- 7:00 PM – Meeting Start
Mark Your Calendars:
- Monday, September 29
- To inform IAC members about the election, the counting process, and open nomination of eligible IAC Members
- Wednesday, October 15
- Introduce the candidates and open the voting period. Provide an explanation of the balloting process, make ballots available, and review the vote-counting procedure
- Monday, November 10
- Close the voting period and provide an explanation of the counting process
- Wednesday, December 17
- Announce the election winner to IAC membership, introduce the official 2026 Liaison, and celebrate the success of the first IAC election!
