We welcome you to join us at the Gaelic League of Detroit for another brunch, this time in commemoration of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin, Ireland. While this was likely the most important event in the kick-start of Ireland’s fight for independence from British rule, many lives were tragically lost, yet their stories were not forgotten.
If this is your first time to our brunches, WELCOME! Think of it as a cultural experience, rather than just a brunch. In the past, we have learned about Irish language lessons, International Women’s Day, The Origins of Halloween, and then some… Always complete with an All-you-can-eat brunch, drink specials, 50/50 raffle and a solid bar of baked goodies, this is always sure to be a fun time out!
