
Detroit Irish Music Association: Workshop and Concert

Irish Music Workshop and Concert hosted by the Detroit Irish Music Association (DIMA)
All are welcome to join an exciting opportunity for a set of four workshops by John Williams and Katie Grennan. Both have extensive experience and awards to their names.
John is a multi instrumentalist with 5 All Ireland titles. He plays button accordion, concertina, flute whistles, bodhran and piano. He is co-founder of Solas and also in the band Reverie Road.
Katie who plays fiddle was with Gaelic Storm and now also plays with Reverie Road, The Bow Tides and STEAM Quartet.
There will be 2 workshops in the morning (one taught by each of them) and 2 in the afternoon. A general session after the final workshop the final workshop in the afternoon.
Tickets for workshops, lunch, a tea break and the concert is $110 for CCE members and $125 for non members.
Concert in the evening at the Gaelic League. Tickets for Concert only for CCE members are $20 and for non CCE members $25.
