This is a Ceili Dance class for Beginners. Ceili is an Irish folk dance done in couples/groups where footwork is simple and emphasis is placed on the figures and formations of the dances. Set dancing is an Irish Folk dance based on quadrilles, in groups of 4 or 8 dancers. Anne McCallum's set dancing, $8. Beginners welcome! Plan to join the craic, visit with friends and get back on the dance floor!
Irish Language Class We meet at the Gaelic League of Detroit the first Wednesday of each month. For the rest of the month, we use Zoom. For more information on how to join the Language class, email glirishdetrot@gmail.com.
